I used to have a Black & Decker mower (now discontinued) exactly the same as this. I suppose the design was sold on to Draper, but its the exact same mower, except for one thing. My original Black & Decker model hovered like a dream & despite a lot of abuse lasted 10 years. This Draper clone which cost me then £125 was identical to the Black & Decker (& I treated it very gently), but packed up in a puff of black smoke after a couple of months. Its replacement under the gaurantee lasted about 6 months & died the same way. Now out of gaurantee I threw it in the bin in disgust. The design is the best of any hover mower but they’ve clearly used a cheaper motor (& thats basically all the moving parts in a hover mower). So buy this & throw it in the bin in 6 months or pay someone to cut the grass for you & save a fortune. I was a great fan of this design of machine so you have been warned.

Contrary to the earlier review I have found this mower to work excellently.

Ideal for the small to medium Garden.

Hovers well, grass collection good.

This mower only has a 1.25 KW motor so shouldn’t be expected to cut through jungle!

For regular mowing of a lawn this mower is ideal, and at a very good price too!
